stick and poke!

after hearing about stick and poke tattoos and seeing these adorable ones from calivintage and too much too young i was very interested. since rickey and i have been talking about our next tattoos for months now i thought i would lay this idea out for him and he was totally up for it! he said that he wanted a whale so i drew quite a few out for him and he picked a cute little sperm whale (my favorite one) and i started the poking!

it isn't completely finished yet, it still needs another go over to make it a little thicker and more bold, but i think it turned out really well for my first try! i'm sure i'll try to talk him into letting me give him a couple more in the future.
